DP SOUND Extensive Research

My role in the group is that of the DP/Sound mixer.  This means I am in charge of the camera and lighting needed to achieve the look desired by the director.  I'll be helping tell the story visually through artistic and technical decisions in regards to shot selection and the film stock we will be utilizing.  As far as sound, my role includes recording all audio for our film with the aid of professional sound equipment and editing it in post.  For this project, I am also in charge of the music and soundtrack our film will have.

My goals are to add my creative input in a way that compliments the overall style desired by the rest of the group in order to tell the story in a way that is interesting and unconventional.  I am researching styles used in other documentaries and films for inspiration on camera angles and lighting design.  I also have a couple of connections for music producers that would be willing to compose an original track we can use in our film.
